Even with the sky rocketing personal budget on new movies, timeless classics are still praised as some of the greatest movies ever made. The
budgeting for these movies was a lot less but the stories and the attachment to lead characters, such as Marilyn Monroe, cannot be easily replicated.

Let's Make Love

Tagline: MARILYN MONROE and YVES MONTAND the French entertainment sensation!
Doing what they do best in LET'S MAKE LOVE

Penultimate film for Marilyn Monroe, with an off-stage story as interesting as its plotline of a
wealthy industrialist who falls for an actress. Songs include 'Incurably Romantic' and 'My Heart
Belongs to Daddy.' Arthur Miller heavily rewrote wife Monroe's part, so leading man Gregory
Peck walked out. His replacement Yves Montand then enjoyed a fleeting fling with his blonde
co-star.

Vaughan, David Burns, Bing Crosby, Gene Kelly, Milton Berle, Wilfrid Hyde-White, Madge

Bus Stop

Tagline: The coming of age of Bo Decker...and the girl who made him a man!

In her warm, energetic portrayal of Cherie, a good-hearted gal whose dream of Hollywood and Vine is
interrupted by the reality of a layover in Phoenix, Marilyn Monroe exposed her vulnerability and, for
many viewers, proved she could act. Her tinny, off-key and utterly magical rendition of "That Old Black
Magic" is one of her finest moments. Marilyn Monroe ditched the breathy, glossy image of The Seven
Year Itch, taking lessons from Lee Strasberg. This was her first film with her new skills.Director: Joshua
Logan. Starring: Marilyn Monroe, Don Murray,Arthur O'Connell, Betty Field, Eileen Heckhart. 1956
