What remains unrealized is that there is no such thing. So many women have come and faded away, and yet Marilyn endures like no other will. She has a rare magic, a captive hold over the public, that will remain unparalleled.
Take a photo of Marilyn Monroe nearly anywhere in the world and she is instantly recognizable. Ask any stranger on the street who she is and they’ll know. Young and old, male and female, people spanning multiple generations know who Marilyn Monroe is and her fame spans decades, countries and cultures. Marilyn is one of the most well known and enduring stars of all time, yet her name evokes in the general public not much more than blonde hair, breathy voice singing Happy Birthday, and a skirt flying up over her knees.
This Christmas the holiday flowers for Marilyn were especially beautiful with assorted flowers in a deep red.Our last donation for the calendar year 2014 to Animal Haven in the amount of $405 was made, and thank you to all who made this possible!I’m proud to say Immortal Marilyn has given in total $1905 for the year of 2014 to Animal Haven. Marilyn would be so touched and honored to see how her fans pull together to give 4 times a year to a no-kill shelter such as Animal Haven, and remember her with flowers.
